Associations of health and human service providers play a vital role in facilitating learning and improvement for their members. But it can be challenging to produce new programs that meet the evolving needs of members within a tight budget and a quick timeframe.

  • At CHS we help solve these challenges by partnering with associations to develop and deliver action learning programs for association members.
  • Over the past two decades we’ve helped associations create action learning programs for hundreds of teams from charitable clinics, community health centers, community behavioral health organizations, hospitals, health systems, public health agencies, and more.
  • The results of these action learning programs can be seen in more effective teams, stronger organizations, and greater community impact.

Innovation centers are organizations that act as conveners and catalysts for innovation in health care and public health. Government-based examples included the Agency for Health Research and Quality (AHRQ), and the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Innovation (CMMI).  Nonprofit examples are numerous, including national organizations such as the Institute for Healthcare Improvement, state-focused organizations such as the Virginia Center for Health Innovation, and a growing number of local innovation hubs located in healthcare organizations and universities.

  • At CHS we help health innovation centers develop and operationalize collaborative innovation programs.
